Ms. Shankar had a passion for Immigration and Nationality laws at a young age. Swee began working as a document clerk in high school, which fueled her ambitions to become an immigration law attorney. Before founding Shankar Ninan & Co., she was a paralegal, Law Clerk, and an associate at Simin H. Syed, P.C.
Ms. Shankar is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the South Asian Bar Association of New York.
